PRAYER & WORSHIP NIGHT ON FEBRUARY 15TH

Join us for an evening dedicated to praise, prayer, testimonies and worship on Sunday, February 15th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. We will be closing out the 40-Day Prayer journey, and hearing praise testimonies from the participants. It will be a family service, with coloring sheets provided for kids.

4D Women’s Gathering

This will be our first gathering of women focused on generational discipleship, and all women from 6th grade and up are invited. No matter what stage of life you are in, we need one another for personal growth and spiritual formation. Join the women of Providence from 6:30–8:30 p.m. on Monday, February 23rd at the Providence auditorium for an evening of friendship, connection, and guidance. Childcare is available on request for kids 0 to 5th grade. Please use this link to sign-up!

We also need help of several volunteers to help in organizing this event:

  • 6 volunteers to bring crock pots to warm up soup (arrival time 6:10 p.m.)
  • 3 volunteers as kitchen team (arrival time 5:30 p.m.)
  • 3 volunteers as set-up team (arrival time 5:30 p.m.)
  • 2 volunteers to lead tear down post event
SCHOOL OF DISCIPLESHIP “SCALING THE DISCIPLESHIP MOUNTAIN” BEGINS MARCH 1ST

The start date for the School of Discipleship has been changed to March 1. There is still time to join the next cohort of believers on a journey to become the disciples Jesus called us to be. “Scaling the Discipleship Mountain” is a 6-week course on taking our discipleship to new heights. It is offered on Sunday mornings from 8:30-9:30 a.m. and on Monday nights from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Follow this School of Discipleship link to sign up.

BLACK + EVANGELICAL – MOVIE SCREENING

In celebration of Black History Month, we invite you to a screening of the feature-length documentary Black + Evangelical.

Narrated and co-created by Dr. Vince Bacote of Wheaton College, the film explores the history, faith, and contributions of African American evangelicals, sharing honest stories of those navigating the intersection of Black identity and evangelical faith in America.

The screening will take place at Providence on Tuesday, March 10.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m., the film begins at 6:30 p.m., and a Q&A will follow.
