4D MEN’S GATHERING
All men are invited to our first quarterly 4D Men’s Gathering on Monday, June 23, at 6:00 p.m. at Providence. 4D is one of our core values that expresses our desire for relational and generational discipleship. All men are invited to connect, build friendships, and get a vision for what God could do through us as a united group of men.
BAPTISM SUNDAY
We have moved baptisms from June 29th to July 13th. We will do joint baptisms with Providencia from 12:00-1:00 pm in the playground area behind the building following the multicultural service. For more information or if you want to sign up to be baptized, email Ray Brim at rbrim@crosspurpose.org.
INTERNATIONAL AGAPE FEAST
Join us on Sunday, July 20th at 11:00 a.m. for a special joint service with our Spanish-speaking group, Providencia, followed by a shared lunch. This event is part of our 3-year plan to grow as one church with different cultural expressions. Everything will take place at Providence.
Instead of a potluck, we will be cooking large amounts of food with help from volunteers. If you’d like to help cover the cost of food, visit the Providence website, go to the Give page, and select “Agape Feast” from the drop-down menu.
We expect around 350 people from different cultural and language groups to attend, so we need lots of volunteers! If you can help with greeting, ushering, decorating, food set-up, or clean-up, please email rsharoon@providencedenver.org.
SAVE THE DATE: BACK-TO-SCHOOL BBQ
Join us for the Providence Back-To-School BBQ on Friday, August 15th, from 6pm to 9pm at Nairobi Park (3500 Cook St, Denver, CO 80205).
Every kid who attends will receive a special back-to-school gift to kick off the year in style!
